These are the steps involved in getting your practice a Hayes EMR system.
Step 1. Supply Hayes Clinical Laboratory with your Practice Management System contact name and number. Make your request and supply this information directly to Chad Fredrich at 561-752-5550 or chad.fredrich@solstas.com.
Step 2. Your practice management system's "vendor approval", along with possible testing and troubleshooting, will take anywhere from 1 day to 5 months, depending on your vendor.
Step 3. In some cases, your Practice Management System vendor will require Hayes Clinical Laboratory to be onsite for a simple setup process based on your vendor's interfacing requirements. These include issues relating to the delivery of results only, orders plus results, VPN, file drop, socket connection, and sftp information assignment (15 minutes to 10 business days).
Step 4. Following full installation, Hayes Clinical Laboratory will then be able to deliver EMRs to your vendor within 15 minutes.
*The most important time-sensitive factor in this process relates to your vendor's capabilities. If they are back-logged by months for new interfaces, your practice and the Hayes EMR are at their mercy. Therefore, we suggest you choose your EMR company wisely!
